Cardboard Challenge September 30, 2022

Send your child to school with his/her Cardboard Challenge game. The school-wide Cardboard Challenge is at the end of the school day, September 30. Games don't have to be fancy, they just need to be FUN! Two cups & a tinfoil ball become a fun game of catch.

Scholastic Book Fair September 26-29, 2022

The Book Fair has great books for all ages!  Browse your favorite titles or discover some new authors. When you buy books at the book fair, you help us buy books for our classrooms and support after school family events/programs.

Hawaii State Board of Education Thursday, Sept. 22

HIDOE parents and families: The Hawaii State Board of Education has launched a Strategic Planning Engagement Survey as part of a comprehensive community engagement process to develop the strategic plan for Hawaii’s public education system. Please consider taking the online survey by Oct. 11.

Join us for Eat, Play, Build! Friday, September 23

As we get ready for the DKIES School-wide Cardboard Challenge, we invite you to a fun family event where you can "make the mess at school."  Build your child's Cardboard Challenge Game, buy dinner from the PTO, play games made by families & shop at the book fair!

Federal Impact Aid survey for SY 2022-2023 September 7, 2022.

The Federal Impact Aid survey will be sent home with students in their Wednesday folder along with the attached Army Letter of Support by Garrison Commander, COL McGunegle.

Please refer to the attached Army Letter of Support by Garrison Commander, COL McGunegle. Please complete and return the survey cards to your child's teacher.

The Federal Impact Aid survey date this year is Wed., Sept. 7. All students and schools benefit from Impact Aid which offsets costs for school materials and resources.
