In November 2024, our students and staff voted to officially recognize DKIES Eagles Day on April 19 each year (observed the prior Wednesday if it falls on a weekend). This special day honors the 2016 renaming of Hale Kula Elementary to Daniel K. Inouye Elementary School. 

It’s a time to remember our history, celebrate our school community, and show Eagles Pride!

Wear your school shirt and be ready for our annual Blooket Game!
