Celebrate Creativity w/Dot Day! September 15
Dot Day is an annual celebration of creativity inspired by the book, Dot Day, by Peter H. Reynolds. Check out the Dot Day page on the library website to watch The Dot & meet inventors whose creativity led to the Supersoaker water gun, the Cardboard Challenge & Pokemon!
This year, DKIES celebrates creativity through our Wonder Wall. Wonders like, "How do chimpanzees communicate?" or "What can be made from peanut plants?" inspired Jane Goodall's & George Washington Carver's research. Students & teachers wrote wonderings on for the wall. We invite you to explore their wonderings on the wall of the library & do some wondering as a family!
